When's it on?

11-13 September 2019

When and where is the 2019 World Plumbing Conference being held?

The Conference is being held at Melbourne Convention Centre from 11- 13 September 2019.

When do conference registrations open?

Registrations are now open, with early bird rates available until 11 March 2019. Registrations can be made here.

Do you have early bird pricing?

Yes, early bird prices are available from 11 September 2018 until World Plumbing Day, 11 March 2019

How do I register?

All registrations must be made online via our registration page. If you have issues with online registration, please contact info@worldplumbingconference.com

When and how is payment required?
Registration can only be made via the online booking site – credit card via paypal or payments are accepted.  All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST.
What is included in a conference registration?
A full conference registration includes attendance at all three days of business sessions as well as the welcome function on Wednesday 11 September.

 

A single day registration includes attendance at any one day of business sessions.

Tickets to the Gala Dinner (Plumbing and Fire Industry Awards) on Friday 13 September should be purchased separately, either at the time of registration or at a later date.

Additional tickets can be purchased for the welcome function.

Am I eligible for the member rate?
If you are a member of one of the listed organisations listed below, you are welcome to take advantage of the discounted Member registration price. This list is made up of organisations that are World Plumbing Council Member organisations or local industry organisations.

Can I attend only one day of conference?
Yes, single day registrations are available
Is there a conference schedule available?
Please review the Program page on this website which will be updated as speakers and sessions are confirmed.
Can I make a change to my booking later?
As long as the changes are in line with our Terms and Conditions, this should be possible. Please contact info@worldplumbingconference.com with your changes.
I can no longer attend, can I get a refund?
Please refer to registration cancellation Policy listed in the terms and conditions.

All cancellations and/or amendments must be made in writing to info@worldplumbingconference.com. A substitute delegate may attend in your place by prior arrangement where deemed appropriate, subject to a $66.00 processing fee. Note that if you do not cancel and do not attend, you are responsible for payment.

Cancellations received on or before 11 August 2019 will be refunded in full, less 25% of the fee to cover administration costs. No registration refunds will be made after this date.

I can no longer attend, can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Yes. Please contact the Conference Events team on info@worldplumbingconference.com
Do I need a visa?
All visitors to Australia must have a valid visa to travel to and enter Australia, including Commonwealth & US passport holders.

Welcome letters can be requested by emailing the Conference Managers (info@worldplumbingconference.com) following completion of Conference registration. For VISA information download the information fact sheet from the Australian Immigration Office.

Note – it is strongly recommended that Australian visa applications are lodged at least two months prior to departure from your point of origin. This may not be organised upon arrival.

Do I have to organise my own accommodation?
You are welcome to make your own accommodation arrangements for your stay or you can choose from one of our recommended hotels as part of your registration and we will handle the booking for you. You can view the recommended accommodation options here and add this to your registration when booking.
Do I have to organise my own travel?
Yes, please make arrangements for your own flights in and out of Melbourne if required. Please review the information on our Destination page for recommendations on how to get from the airport to your accommodation.
Do you have a partner’s program?

Recommended activities for partners are currently underdevelopment. Email info@worldplumbingconference.com for more information.

Will you have translation available?
Some translation will be available. Please contact the Conference Events team on info@worldplumbingconference.com with your requirements.
How can my organisation be involved?
We have some great opportunities for sponsors and exhibitors – please review the Sponsorship page for the best options for your organisation.
What should I wear?
All sessions and the welcome function will be business casual.

Gala Dinner/ Plumbing & Fire Awards dinner requires formal wear.

What should I expect of the weather in September?
The average temperature for September is a low of 9 degrees centigrade and a high of 17 degrees centigrade.
What if I want to extend my trip to Melbourne / Australia?
Additional nights can be booked pre and post conference as part of your registration. If you’d like to explore beyond the city, we recommend reviewing our Destination page for ideas and links.
I require wheelchair access to the venue, who do I inform of this?
At the time of booking your registration there will be an opportunity to advise of any other requirements. If these change after your booking has been made, please contact the Conference Events team on info@worldplumbingconference.com
